File Template

Last Updated: Dec 09, 2013 07:42PM UTC
File templates define detailed/customized embed code for each file type supported and gives the designer more control over media files. It also gives designers a set of variables which can be used to create any kind of layout, including complex JavaScript based dynamic galleries. You can create multiple templates with different styling and re-use them throughout your website.

Below are examples of basic templates for your different media files. These templates control the dimensions of your media files, titles, captions and/or descriptions

<image preview="600x350" thumb="400x300">
    <div class="fileTitle">{title}</div>
    <div class="fileBody">{preview}</div>
</image>

<audio preview="600x350" thumb="400x300">
    <div class="fileTitle">{title}</div>
    <div class="fileBody">{preview}</div>
</audio>

<video preview="600x350" thumb="400x300">
    <div class="fileTitle">{title}</div>
    <div class="fileBody">{preview}</div>
</video>

<doc preview="600x350" thumb="400x300">
    <div class="fileTitle">{title}</div>
    <div class="fileBody">{preview}</div>
</doc>

Responsive Image File

To allow for responsive design you can set your file template up for that purpose. In the example below we added style="width:100%" to let the image resize with browser when viewed on mobile devices.

<image preview="1200x5000">
   <img src="{preview_url}" alt="{title}" style="width: 100%;" />
</image>
